Here at Diamond Revolution I work to source amazing quality stones, all certified by an independent laboratories so you are confident in making a purchase with my fledgling brand.

But what does that mean? why is one diamond so much more expensive than the other?

This is where the 4C’s come in so individual diamonds are graded.

Diamond Revolution currently use G colour and VS2 clarity, which is exceptionally high on the chart. If you require different grades please use the customise button and we can source other colours and clarity.

Across is the GIA (gemological Institute of America) grading chart

The “4C’s” are spoken about every time you walk in a jewelry store. This is how a diamond is graded and valued. The higher the grade the more valuable the stone.

The 4 C’s are Carat, Colour, Clarity, Cut.

Carat is the weight of the stone, this can also relate to the size of the stone, but not always.

Colour is described as the colour of the stone, you have white stones grade D to Z however diamonds also come in fancy colours, where trace elements react with the carbon atoms during creation. D grade in white stones are the rarest and most valuable.

Clarity is the presence of imperfections or flecks of carbon in the stone grads run from flawless (F) to included 3 (I3)

Cut is the quality of the cut and how well the light enters the stone, reflects of the facets and then reflects back out.
